Mission Statement

The Purple Ribbon Campaign is a third-party fundraiser for charitable organizations that support recovery from eating disorders.  During January and February each year, high school, university, and college students sell purple ribbons, representing eating disorder awareness and recovery, and help raise awareness among the public about eating disorders.
We are working to get the campaign incorporated as its own charity in the next year or so (hopefully by early 2013). As its own independent organization, the campaign will focus on awareness initiatives such as distributing information leaflets to the general public, giving information and awarenss packages to schools, and connecting schools, community organizations, and workplaces with the resources that they need to learn about eating disorders, prevention, and recovery.

In the meantime, the goals of the campaign are as follows:
-to distribute information about eating disorders, prevention, and recovery by giving out leaflets and selling purple ribbons
-to collect donations for recovery support organizations through the sale of said purple ribbons
